Dahab, Egypt

For Inktober 2025, I traded the comfort of my studio for the shores of Dahab, Egypt.
For thirty-one days, I drew wherever I could: cafés, rooftops, beaches and quiet corners overlooking the Red Sea. Rather than chasing polished illustrations, I used the challenge to capture ideas before they disappeared.
Living in a different country changes the way you observe the world. New landscapes, conversations and routines naturally found their way into these drawings, making this collection as much a travel journal as a sketchbook.
Some of these sketches remained exactly as they were. Others became the foundation for larger projects that continue to evolve today.
